Attention for former visitors: the dates for the YEEP-week have been changed!
The next visit to Ethiopia is in the pipeline: From 1 to 11 of April, we will organize the next YEEP week in Hawassa, Ethiopia. Apply now for the YEEP-tech and business Week in April 2023 – Application for participants from Switzerland is now open.
On what will we work on?
During the YEEP week, we will work on business topics such as lean canvas model, finance, marketing or market segmentation. At the same time, we will also have a tech group that will support Ethiopian students to complete the prototype of their machine/ device (mechanical, electro-mechanical, IT). The exact business ideas/ projects, which we will work with, will be communicated in the course of December.

Details
Partner schools: hftm, HFW/ WKS Bern, BFH Biel/ Bern, BBZ Biel, CEJEF, CIP, StudentImpact, HEIA-FR, WISS.
Dates: Departure on Saturday 1 April 2023 in the evening. Return to Switzerland on Tuesday morning 11 April 2023.
Alternative dates: The dates had to be postponed from February. We are flexible also to carry out the project rather in the week after Easter. We will check with participants, in case that the new dates should not be convenient for everybody.
Who is behind it: YEEP is a project of DEVENTURE, an association based in Bern, Switzerland. DEVENTURE is a non-profit organization who offers different projects that promote entrepreneurial thinking and exchange between Switzerland and Ethiopia.
